Our Early-Stage Research (ESR) Start-up grants can support you at the beginning of your research project. The ESR is designed to provide support for one year to those who have completed a PhD or are beginning to become independent researchers. It can help fund consumables.

Applications are particularly welcome from members of the Society in the early stages of their career to give them the opportunity to follow a research plan leading to a full grant application.
